Mercedes Benz only made a few of these red sedans. This car has been garaged for most of its life and it shows. Its shine is still very lusterous. This car was a luxury model sold for for over $40,000 in 1984. I have all its original manuals. It has a sun roof, leather seats (back seats are in excellent condition, front seats have some cracks, which sheepskin covers hide). It has been maintained with care. I have all the service records for the past ten years. The Mercedes has recently had the valves adjusted, the brakes worked on, and some minor adjustments for running on bio-diesel (but does not have to run on bio-diesel). The car is rust free. It gets 30 MPG, which is amazing for a car of its size and sturdiness. 201,442 miles, with a long life still to go. AC needs work, and heater works great. One small dent in rear. Hi All, I have a unusual and sweet 1984 Toyota Camry Turbo Diesel Vegi-oil Hybrid for sale. It is a true factory turbo diesel in excellent shape, especially considering its age. The car has been well maintained and has used only synthetic motor oil for the last 40k miles. Diesel are known go to well over 300,000 miles on the same engine. I believe the Toyota Turbo Diesels were made for about 3 years or so. From 84 - 86. The facts: Converted to run on Vegi-oil back in 2005 with Charlie Anderson of Greasel/Golden Fuel systems. We did this when he came to teach us how to do the WVO conversion at EcoVersity. When running waste vegi-oil it runs so smooth people cannot believe its a diesel. Why pay over $4+ per gallon when you can collect hundreds of gallons of waste vegi-oil, filter it, fill your vegi-oil tank and drive for free? Free vegi-oil can be gotten at many japanese, chinese, mexican and many more kinds of restaurants. It has: A large 24 gallon tank in the trunk. Range is easily over 700 miles (37mpg) on the vegi-tank itself. Installed stiffer rear struts to easily handle the extra weight. 2 Filters, for easier maintenance. 1 filter under the hood, a screw on heated Racor and the other in the trunk is a heated screw on Donaldson both 10 micron filters. This is a great way to have excellent filtering and easy to change filter in the trunk so you very rarely have to change it under the hood. The 24 gallon tank has 2 heat exchangers and the whole tank gets very very hot very quickly. It can heat 24 gallons of Vegi-oil very quickly. There is no problem driving around town with heated oil in the winter time. Just start the car and when the car is warmed up so is your vegi-oil fuel. Electric dinofuel/vegi-oil switch. Inside the car and separate Walbro Pump switch as well. The car is: 1984 Toyota Camry factory Turbo Diesel Newly re-manufactured turbo / 50k mile warranty Champagne color. 4 door. 1.8 liter 5 Speed manual Great shape. Approximately 130k miles. Well maintained. I have plenty of pics. I also have included with the sale of the car 1 50 gallon plastic drum. Some additional car filters. Some large 33gallon trash cans to be used for the filtering process. ..POSSIBLY MORE... The car runs great! Engine Purrs!!! Wont even believe its a turbo diesel, runs very smooth and quiet! Cars in great shape, only 1 thing is needed, the AC needs a recharge, my mechanic says nothing is wrong with the compressor. Thats it and your good to go. I just had installed into the car a new starter, battery and exhaust gasket. Prior to this a new turbo with a 50,000 mile warranty as well. Runs great, quite fun to drive compared to larger minivans...you can do a lot of the same things with this car (haul stuff or people, etc) as you can with a full-size minivan, except this is a lot more fun to drive and gets better MPG, and is easier to park...I happen to think it looks great too,

I get 25 mpg around town, 27-30 in mixed driving (going 70-75 mph), and over 30 all highway.

I have most maintenance records (needed almost no maintenance except for oil changes and such).

Right now has a crack in the windshield on the passenger side, and will need new tires before next winter...I figure the condition of the windshield and tires are offset in the price by the tint ($325) and the trailer hitch ($275), but of course everything is negotiable.

Why are we selling? One too many cars, retirement, just don't need it. We are non-smokers.

good running truck, every thing works, its very easy to drive for an older 4X4. You realy can't beat these chevys. it needs a battery and has high miles. 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix, 400 cu-in V8 model �J.� This V8 orginally had 10.25:1 compression ratio, but lowered with low comp cylinder heads off later 400 for 87 oct Regular fuel. Including rebuilt orginal 10.25:1 cylinder heads! Rebuilt front tie-ROD, ball joints, rear shocks, rear springs and bushings with alignment @ 122624 miles). NEW power steering pump, radiator, water pump, new camshaft (276/288 dur, .465" lift @ 1.65:1 rocker), new timing gears, electronic factory ignition system, Edelbrok 4bbl 750cfm carb / manifold. New carpet, trunk mat, hood insulation, door rubber (needs to be installed), new A/C seals O-rings and recharge back on 6/25/2005 ($692.64). STILL COLD TODAY. Dent on left fender and rear quarter panel. This car has been garage stored for most of its life. I have documentation from Pontiac Historical Society. Car was shipped to to Louis Fharm Pontiac in Downey, CA on 12/16/1969. I have reciepts for more than $2475 just on the upgrades that I have done above. Note from the pictures that it has two dents on driver's side. As of today, the current milage 24,494 (odometer is accurate but the speedometer reads 10-15 mph slow due to a tired spring). Needs a parking brake cable and back up light connection. The factory radio is intact but with low volume. Mechanically sound and I have driven this car all over with out any concerns of a breakdown. Please note that I am not sellig this car with the headlights shown as they are not legal for USA highways. I do have the chrome headlight bezels ready to be installed!
