After searching for the perfect bike, I have settled on the KLR. BUT, I'm a student, and I don't have too much money. I DO have a 1994 Camry LE with all the trimmings: power sun-roof, windows, locks, a good stereo with cassette deck (and iPod adaptor thrown in, of course), beautiful faux-wood interior with leather arm-rest.

Its 290,000 miles were put on mostly by the previous owner who we know personally, and who treated this car very well. It drives very quietly, shifts nicely, and runs without any problems at all. A mechanic just went over it, and said that the only problems are a leaky valve and some corrosion on the battery, with the timing belt needing a switch before too long. All small fixes; this car is in excellent condition.

Its Kelly Blue-book Private Party Value is $3,080.00, about the equivalent of a KLR; an even trade would do nicely for me, and a car's much warmer in the winter for you!

A really nice and great running 200 cc Italian Scooter by Aprilia. If you've done your homework, you know by now that Italian Scooters are the absolute best.. far superior to Japanese, Chinese or Korean makes, where its sometimes hard to find parts. Aprilia's are serviced right here in Santa Fe. Its a GREAT VEHICLE for Santa Fe.

This machine runs GREAT. It gets 80 mpg, and goes up to 75 mph. It has a 200cc engine, is easy to ride and seats 2 comfortably. In fact, my partner rides it and she is 118 lbs. It has a helmet carrier, storage, windshield, electric starter, and ONLY 6480 miles on it.

I'm the second owner of this beauty. Purchased from BMW Motorcyles of North Texas. 6,000 maintenance performed by AMS in Dallas. Sitting close to 7,200 miles right now.

Bike was always used for commuting and joy riding, never any racing or stunts. Never down in my possession. Very clean and runs really well. I get lots of compliments on this bike. There are no mechanical issues at all.

There is one small area on the left side of the tank where the previous owner got some rock chips. It's not bad, but wanted to point out. See pics below. There aren't any dents, dings or scratches otherwise.
