Les Paul copy. Circa late 70's early 80's. Got it as a gift my 15th birthday, 1985. Stripped and refinished the neck with a beautiful stain, leaving a smooth, easy to move your hand finish and great Grover tuners. Light plywood over the front of headstock where had been a hole. Painted black to match. Hard to tell what copier it was but most likely a Harmony.

For either an experienced luthier or builder of guitars or someone who possesses it as a hobby or interest in taking up the craft.

Needs either new or resuccered pickups, a plate for the back, option of pick guard on the front, strings, strap bolts and either 2 or a complete set of 4 knobs. The set-up is comprised of two 8" midrange speakers w/horns, and a 15" powered sub (tri-amped). It puts out 150 watts to each 8" satellite and 300 to the sub (which contains the amps as well). This was a state-of-the-art sound system when it first came out. It cranks lows, mids, and highs better than any PA in its class. Comes with a Behringer six channel stereo mixer (UB1202FX) w/effects, two new "On Stage" speaker stands, heavy duty cables, and dolly wheels on sub. I also have a Martin DCX1E acoustic/electric with new Elixir strings, and hard case for $550.00. I need to sell in order to get the money to buy my new gear. If you have a nice electric guitar and/or amp for playing rock and blues--I'd consider a trade. This is all you'd need to go out on your own as a solo, or to provide sound for a band in a small club. A Galanti, made in Italy 1967/68. One missing piece is the the buttom at spot 2 for the pick-ups. It has a nice neck similar to Fender Strats and has an amazing tone and sound!! $450 Quote from a rare guitar site-

I am offering my Gibson RB-250 for Sale. It is in good shape with great frets. It is all original except for the strings. This means that the Kluson tuners are there as well. The neck is set up with railroad spike style capo points. It is currently strung with medium gauge strings but will re-string it using light strings if you prefer.
The neck strap does not come with (birthday present) but a nice TKL hard case does. I also have a 1972 Sigma Banjo, 5-string $300.00 without case. In addition I have an Epiphone/Gibson, Hearts & Floweresque 5-string. It is probably a 2004 and comes with a Fender style Tweed soft case for $400.00. Both are nice banjoes, the Sigma has some fretboard and fret wear (not too much) and The Epiphone is hardly touched. I have an Ome that I play to death and just need to thin the herd.

Help me find my mother's 1952 black Steinway piano ("The Island")

During the summer/fall of 2006 a black Steinway piano was removed from a little church at a place nicknamed "The Island" in Santa Fe, located near Airport Rd and Cerrillos Rd. A man named Pinon at the time may have managed the piano's removal, but sadly he has passed on and his uncle does not have any information leading to its whereabouts. If you have any information about what happened to this piano, please contact me. I am hoping that somebody is taking good care of it, and that it is still in the area for me to touch my mother's piano again. My mother passed on this last April, and sadly a traumatic brain injury that I sustained five years ago has left me trying to reclaim the former life that I had lost.
