Fine book collection of indigenous and "primitive" art books, and some early-modern Europeans thus inspired. I embarked on a seven-year study of emotionally-expressive abstraction to develop my own capacity to create original work. I bought these books to open my mind and provide a foundation. I spent many hours pouring over them. Small and poor-quality images from paperbacks - I photographed and enlarged to see better (included, shown in last photo).

After a few years as a new sculptor, I was able to create my own abstractions. I found my own "inner primitive". Now I have moved on to other projects and want this collection to go to a loving home. Some were expensive, others cheap but uniquely precious. Many are rare.

I will sell groups of books per topic, but otherwise I just sell individual books unless you see something of special value.
