Women's Vintage Black Swing Coat Sz Small/Medium 1940s Retro Black Crepe with Ribbon Trim

- retro 1930s -1940s black crepe swing coat
- notched collar and 2 fabulous ribbon edged pleated breast pockets
- ribbon piping extends from the outer edge of each pocket down to the hem
- 2 hidden open hip pockets behind the ribbon
- no front closure so it can be worn open, tied with a belt of your choice, or fastened with a great vintage brooch
- fully lined in black crepe fabric
- has shoulder pads as typical of that era's fashion
- no labels of any kind

Size: There is no size label but it was photographed on a size 2 form. Since it is full and swingy it definitely has wiggle room. My best guess is that is truly meant to be a medium.

Condition: This is in very good condition for its age. The color, the texture and the pockets and ribbon trim are great, but there is an open area in the left shoulder seam (see pic), a small hole on the right side of the collar (see pic), a tiny hole in the back of the coat which is in the same place in the lining. It is 3 mm (25 mm = 1 inch) and truly is not noticeable. I would guess it was hit with a vintage hot ash sometime during the Big Band era. The lining has a few superficial snags. The collar has no inside neck wear.

*I have a full length mirror & other vintage clothing
