- vintage polished chrome desk set from Smith Metal Arts - Radius One line
- designed by William Skarloff and has a very sleek & modern aesthetic
- purchased new in 1974 and used daily until 2008 when owner retired and packed it away
- each piece has the Radius One label affixed with exception of the scissor set
- all pieces have black plasticized felt to their undersides to protect your desk's finish
- the set includes:
Calendar holder: paper secures to the holder by 2 screws underneath 6 1/2" x 8" x 1" with 3" tall chrome pieces that secure the pages. In good vintage condition with surface scratches & wear
Legal size paper & letter tray or holder: has indentation at the front for ease of removing papers 14 1/4" x 10 1/4" x 2 1/4". In good condition but it's base has separated & will need to be reattached by the new owner
Lid to paper tray: slightly smaller than the tray & acts as a weight 13" x 9" x 1/2" tall at handle. In very good condition
Memo paper tray: has indentation at the front for ease of removing note paper 5 1/4" x 7 1/4" x 1" . In good condition, but has a small crack to the front.
Letter opener/scissor in holder: This 3 piece set is NOT Radius One but was made & purchased in Italy. Each piece is stamped "Italy" and there is a waterbird stamp with illegible writing on the scissor. It was purchased contemporaneously and matches the weight and fabrication of the other pieces. The same scissor set can be seen for sale online for $395. & It is 11" x 2 1/2" x 1" All pieces in good working condition.
Ashtray: Holds 2 cigarettes 6" x 6" x 1 3/4" In decent condition but the inner lining has damage from years of blissful use. The metal is solid and this could be used to hold paper clips etc or stick a doily in it an use it as a candy dish.
Please note that all of these pieces have been used and have the usual expected signs of age. SOLD ONLY AS A SET.
