Our ideal candidate is a proven self-starter, able to execute projects with minimal direction, works well under pressure, able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and be able to work individually or in a team. At a minimum, you should be experienced in putting together a quality set of Construction Documents for small commercial or custom residential projects on your own, with the ability to plug into a project team for larger projects. This position envisions growth into full project management role over time.
Responsibilities
Setup and management of Revit Models for commercial projects.
Work under firm Principal / Project Architect for development of working drawings for bidding, Permitting & Construction for a variety of project types ranging from small to large scale projects.
Conceptual design work including 3d Modeling, rendering and presentation graphics.
Candidates who possess the following qualities and skills will be considered for the position:
Desired Qualities
3-5 years experience in architectural practice; either licensed or on the path to licensure.
Bachelor or Master Degree in Architecture
A team oriented collaborator with ego in-check
Creative problem solver with good design skills
Good Communicator
Ability to manage time and work flow on several concurrent projects
An interest in sustainable design and community oriented projects
Minimum Required Skills
Fluency in AutoCad Architecture and Revit
Proficiency in MS Office suite
Proficiency in Sketch-up and/ or other 3d modeling software
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator & Photoshop
Preferred Skills
Good graphic & communication skills
Ability to perform research on a variety of variety of topics ranging from building typology, programming, ecology and materials.
Energy modeling
Understanding of how a building is put together and ability to assemble a high quality set of drawings
Compensation
This is a full time position. Compensation is dependent upon experience.
