Celestron Nexstar Evolution 8 inch is for sale. Excellent condition. Priced at less than half retail. Features built-in lithium iron phosphate battery good for several nights. Built-in wifi enabling scope control via cellphone or computer. Or the standard Celestron hand controller. USB charging port.
Strong simple alt-az mount & tripod, reasonably portable. I love the simple 2 or 3 star alignment procedure. No fiddling with equatorial issues.
Selling this for a friend who left the country. I'd keep it but already have 4 scopes. Located between Taos NM and San Luis Colorado. Prefer pickup!
I don't have original shipping boxes and would have to charge a buyer for all that.
