I bought this romantic and comfortable set 5 yers ago. It had recently been reupholstered by the previous owner. The saclloping, ribbon trim and detail are exceptional. Each cushion is a custom shape. No rips, tears or stains, other than one stain under one of the couch cushions that is not visible. The cushions are firm. The upholstery alone is worth $2500 or more. The intricately carved wood trim shows the patina of its age. It does not wobble or shift. The curved back is surprisingly comfortable to cozy into with a cup of tea. The Pullman company was known for creating opulent interiors for train cars. they later went into home furniture at the turn of the century.
