This antique rocking chair is over 100 years old and has been well cared for. The seat appears to have been replaced at some point using pre-woven cane. The back was just recently replaced using strip cane. The back area has been stained to come close to the color in the seat however, this is not completely possible considering the two different time periods in which the repairs were made. The chair is in excellent condition and has signs of wear consistent with its age. The chair would be a beautiful addition to a classic home decor. See photos for additional details.
