Gorgeous antique writing table with carved Louis XV–style cabriole legs and scrolled apron. Believed Spanish colonial or Mexican origin with French detailing — primitive elegance with deep, earned patina (old ink marks, oxidation, real age). Solid plank top, 53" × 34" at 29" desk height. Two small side drawers with antique iron pulls. Finished on all sides — floats in a room. Underside has a hand-painted "#11," likely an old dealer/estate inventory number. Natural split along one plank seam (classic for period pieces, stabilized underneath) and one chipped corner; I had a Tandy leather topper that covered it perfectly — lost it in a move, easily remade. Solid, beautiful, ready for its next chapter. $850 OBO, pickup in South Capitol neighborhood.
