This unique table lamp was purchased in Santa Fe in the 1990’s. It is 27” long and 27” high. There are 6 dancing Kachina’s and 4 corn stocks. I know it looks crooked but it’s not, it’s the table. For those of you living in an old adobe house you know nothing is square. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with the dancing Kachina… they reflect the Hopi’s deep respect for nature and their ancestor’s teachings. The dancing Kachina is a central figure in ceremonial dances, symbolizing the connection between the spiritual and physical worlds. The tradition dates back centuries, with roots in ancient Puebloan cultures.
