Absolutely beautiful hand carved rosewood screen/divider. This screen has intricate frame and panel construction and was purchased in Afghanistan in the 1970's but most likely came from India. The 4 panels fold up together for easy storage. The carving is present on both sides allowing the divider to be placed in the middle of a room or it can be used flush up against a wall to be used for example as a headboard. There are 6 brass hinges per joint for strength and to maintain alignment.

Each panel is 20 inches wide totaling 80 inches wide. The screen is 6 ft 3 in tall.
