Two solid cherry side table/nightstand/end table, made by a small reproduction shop in Vermont in the late 1980’s -1990’s.
Construction and style: Square top, single drawer, scalloped/curved apron with two round decorative holes (common as finger pulls, pull mount points, or purely aesthetic details in that era), and straight/tapered legs, purchased from the now defunct San Francisco store LIMN.
These are a matching pair of tall, slender wooden nightstands (or side tables/end tables). Clean, minimalist lines with a slight mid-century modern or contemporary Scandinavian influence.
They feature:
A single drawer per table.
Tapered/splayed legs that give them an elegant, lightweight appearance.
A gently curved or scalloped apron (the lower front edge below the drawer) with two circular cutouts — these are likely where round wooden knobs or pulls were originally mounted (one is visible in the open drawer in the first photo).
Cherry solid wood, the wood has a warm, golden tone.
They look relatively tall and narrow making them great as nightstands next to a higher bed or as accent/side tables in a living room.
Simple, functional build with dovetail or basic drawer construction visible. They seem sturdy but not overly heavy.
Style & Possible Origin
This style is very common in mid-century modern reproductions, Danish-inspired designs, or small-batch furniture from the last few decades. The combination of tapered legs + curved/scalloped apron + single drawer is a classic look seen in both vintage pieces and semi-custom furniture.
Perfect bedside tables — the drawer holds small items (remotes, glasses, etc.), and the open space below is great for books or a basket. The height works well for taller beds.
Care: Wipe with a damp cloth; use coasters to protect the top.
