Pair of vintage Knoll International chairs, red Naugahyde-type upholstery with white piping, in very good original condition. See photos. Knoll International label on each chair. See photo. Chrome is in excellent condition. Photos show that one chair has two mars in the upholstery on the left arm and has extra holes drilled in the original chrome tubing on the back; the other chair one has two small two holes at the top of the back panel and one screw that we couldn't get fully screwed in. They are from the 1970's.
we have also finally figured out that they have been reupholstered thus explaining the odd flaws i mention...they are redone in naugahyde because the original which we assume was leather had dried out and cracked...........this won't be a problem now.............they are still very good looking and still original knoll chairs.
They are apparently rare: we haven't been able to find anything similar (in terms of color) online. One thing is sure, they are very cool. And collectable. $350 or best offer.
