We offer forestry services to private and public land managers in New Mexico and Colorado. Job locations include Albuquerque, Santa Fe, Colorado, Northern New Mexico such as Taos, Jemez etc. Travel is a requirement of the job. When staying out of town we either camp or stay in rental houses depending on the season. We are based out of Santa Fe.
Our primary services are:
-Thinning, felling, hazard tree removal
-Slash management
-Wild fire risk mitigation - defensible space
-Noxious weed management
Our secondary services include:
-Tree pest management
-Seeding
-Erosion mitigation and permaculture
-Light dirt work
Job Duties:
-Manual labor consisting of felling and bucking, carrying/hauling consistently 50 lb+, use of hand tools, working around forestry equipment (winches, chippers, trucks, skidsteer etc.)
-Use of personal protective equipment, adhering to job site safety standards
-Work in occasional stressful situations
Required Qualifications:
-Ability to get to job sites around Santa Fe area (foothills, Canoncito, Tesuque, Hyde Park etc.)
-Ability to work in adverse weather and work conditions (steep arroyos/mountainous terrain, snow)
-Ability to work as a team
-Strong work ethic, safe, reliable
-Willingness to learn
-Sawyer applicants need professional chainsaw experience (S212 Class is a plus)
Schedule: 40 hours/week. Monday - Thursday 10 hour days- required OT depending on job.
Compensation: DOE and job type
-$18/hr+

We are seeking individuals who enjoy working in the woods and care for the condition of our lands. Pay increases with competency and reliability. Employees are responsible for: safety glasses, 7” leather boots, long sleeve shirts, hard hat. We provide chaps and tools.
