OMG, if you want an amazing, beautiful, rare, fast, lightly-used, unusual, awesomely-cool VINTAGE HONDA MOTORCYCLE, boy did you come to the right place!

This bike is nearly 40 years old, and yet, with just 1,100 (!!!) easy original one-owner miles, looks like it just rolled off the assembly line in Japan. Shining paint and chrome, rubber like new, everything tight and sharp and crisp, just like new. Not Rebuilt. New.

You'd be insane to spend $5K-10K or more on a new motorcycle when you can grab this one-of-a-kind rare collectible reliable daily-driver. With the coolest transmission on the road, the incomparable HONDAMATIC, you can drive this thing in your sleep (but don't, that could be dangerous). Neutral, Low, and High, that's it. No clutch to fool with. Concentrate on your driving, not your shifting. Stay upright, alert, and alive. This machine is pretty happy no matter what gear you're in, and after a half-hour on this baby, you'll wonder why you EVER fooled with a clutch and gears...why bother?

This bike has a new battery and the carbs have been rebuilt and cleaned and tested. Everything's been checked and tuned. It would be a mistake to consider this bike as some kind of museum-piece. It would be very smart, rather, to consider this bike as a superior alternative to buying a new, bland, boring, cookie-cutter bike -- built to a lower quality-standard -- at much higher cost. No bikes at ANY price are built-better, run more reliably, or last longer than classic vintage CB and CM Hondas like this one.

Every 1,800 miles, you'll want to change the oil and oil filter...$40, maybe -- and then, pray tell, what else will it need? Hint: NOTHING WHATSOEVER! It's a HONDA, built in Japan with electronic ignition and low, low miles, pristine and not messed-with! Compare that to a new Ducati (say), with regular required dealer service that will (read my lips) BLEED YOU DRY.

Any vintage Honda is very cool. A really clean example -- though hard to find -- is very, very cool. But face it, gang, an immaculate HONDAMATIC 400 is the COOLEST of the cool, exceptionally cool (rare is cool), and the 400cc mid-sized engine is delightful, not too big, not too small, JUST RIGHT, making for a nimble, easily-maneuverable, fun to drive bike.

THIS WON'T LAST! You heard that here first! THE SCOOTER GURU OF SANTA FE (that's me) mostly sells motor scooters, but I like motorcycles also and when I come across one that's this cool and this distinctive, I simply HAVE to scoop it up and offer it to the public -- after thoroughly-enjoying the test drives!!!

The price, you ask? Well...I'm open to offers. These bikes typically sell on Ebay for $1500-$3500+. The catch? Those bikes SUCK! Missing parts, oil leaks, high mileage, rust, savagely-executed "customizations"...yuk. Compared to those bikes, this one hails from another planet.

Don't believe me? Check Ebay yourself, and learn the horrible truth. For example, check out this stinker, just one of many: https://ebay.us/iVAZT1 -- no title, dented gas tank, in very poor tune, rusty cam cover, old and tired-looking, asking price $3,500! And you'd have to pay another $500 for shipping this pig. Since it's out of state, you'd have to buy it sight-unseen...now THAT'S courage!!! -- and when it arrives, a real mess, what the heck would you do, ship it back?!!!?!

So if you do feel moved to make an offer on THIS superlative bike, please keep it serious. After all, I'm happy to keep this bike safely tucked away and sell it in 10 years for 10K. Again, I suggest viewing this as-new vintage Honda as a compelling, practical alternative to a brand-new, high-quality, high-spec motorcycle...not as your typical used and clapped-out garage-find Ebay bucket o'bolts!!!
