2007 V-Strom DL1000. 26,XXX miles. I have owned this since 2012. Regular oil changes, TBS when it needs it, valves adjusted. Bike is in good condition overall. Small amount of cosmetic damage on the fairing from dropping it while stopped (at a rally, in front of everyone - yeah, that was embarrassing).
Located in Santa Fe, NM. Feel free to come test it, with money in my hand. I would be 100% confident doing a fly and ride to anywhere in the CONUS on this bike. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it.
Farkled as follows:
Richland Rick steering stabilizer
Richland Rick mirror extenders
Powerlet and USB outlet on fairing
Oxford heated grips with grip puppies (note: original controller failed, as they always did, and it is wired with a parallel/series switch that gives you a choice of 50% or 100% power)
PWD radar shelf
MSR ATV Hi bar
Moose +2 winshield. Comes with original still in good condition.
GIPro gear position indicator with TRE
Suzuki center stand
Richland Rick peg lowering kit (original parts go with it)
Cobra FI2000 fuel injection mapper
Speedo healer and Ratface gauge face so speedo and odo are both correct
Richland Rick sprocket offset kit
Brake light flasher
Battery maintainer/heated gear lead
Seahorse case top box with Dzus fastening system so when box is remove the luggage rack is still flat (required removing rubber cover, which comes with it). Note that case has one latch handle partially broken.
+1 rear sprocket
Eastern Beaver fuse block
+1/2" dogbanes (1/2" increase in ride height to compensate for lower pegs)
Probably some other stuff that I forgot about
Some spares and specialty tools (I.e., axle tool)
Running Metzeler Tourances. Rear only has about 1,000 miles on it. Front you will want to replace it within a few thousand miles.
It currently has a Scotts stabilizer on it. I intend to remove that and sell it separately, unless I get my asking price. I should really defarkle the entire thing and sell it all separately but that's a huge PITA and this bike is set up nice for someone to jump on it and lay down the miles so I'd hate to make them start all over. I will remove the Garmin bracket as well.
It has throttle body nipple extensions to make throttle body sync's much easier.
Head over to Stromtrooper and do your research. Asking a fair price so please no lowballs.
