For your consideration is a pair of JBL 4311 studio monitors in excellent condition. These iconic monitors were first choice near/mid field speakers for recording and mixing more than a decade in major studios around the world.

This 3 way speaker pair is the most sought after version 4311WXA with the walnut cabinet and alnico drivers: 2213 woofer, LE5-2 midrange, LE25 tweeter.

Incredibly detailed and dynamic, they are iconic, outstanding reference speakers.

My pair sound fantastic. Most pairs found on Reverb or ebay have tweeters that are damaged or dented in and the foam damping ring disintegration. Or the woofers suspension is rotting. Mine are perfect. The grill cloths are new, replaced with JBL fabric.

There is an 8" narrow strip of walnut veneer missing from the front of one cabinet, only noticeable upon close inspection.

So, if these speakers are so great, why am I selling them? Because I'm retiring from mixing and downsizing my work room.

They are available for audition for serious buyers.
