The 2008 Larrivée LV-05 is a high-end, USA-made acoustic-electric guitar featuring a Venetian cutaway "L" body shape, designed for balance, clarity, and versatility. Built with all-solid woods, this model from the 05 series features a gloss finish and maple binding.

The first owner of this guitar did not understand hydration so there are several professionally repaired cracks...one in the front center lower bout below the bridge, the others or on the back. All have been glued, cleated and determined stable.
The guitar sounds like a dream...better than a Martin and as good as any Gibson out there.
This is a $4,000 guitar new and it sounds like a $4K guitar but for only $1600.
Very comfortable neck. Minimal fret wear, if any.
Set up is spot on.
It's been hydrated, well loved and happy for the few years I've owned it.
