My name is Margot and I offer high quality dog boarding in my home 35 minutes from Santa Fe near Pecos, NM. We are in the beautiful countryside with a fenced in yard, where your dog can have supervised play time and be comfortable inside the house the rest of the day and night.
On-site dog boarding rates are $60/night for the first dog, and $25/night for each additional. Only non-aggressive dogs accepted. I provide quality personalized attention for all dogs in my care, thus an additional rate may apply for special needs pets, including puppies under one year.
Animals and nature have been an important part of my whole life, and over the years have had my own dogs and also cared for many dogs, cats, birds and other critters, professionally and for friends.
I am retired from a career in massage therapy, and available to be with your pet most of the time. Pet care has been a regular part of my life for many years, and I enjoy the daily routine of attentive pet care including exercising and brushing if needed.
Your pets and I will follow your regular daily schedule for feeding and outings, and I will give them lots of quality love and attention. I'm experienced in following complex feeding regimens if necessary. Your animals will be safe, loved and cared for.

Margot was so great taking care of our three dogs. She was very communicative from the time we asked if she would be available, to the time we picked up the girls. My girlfriend has a very hard time leaving her dog with anyone, especially someone new, but Margot put her mind at ease almost immediately. She sent text updates and pictures daily, often more than once a day, which we always appreciated. She was so kind and loving towards our girls. Took them on walks, played ball, and had cozy time indoors when the weather got cold. We are so happy to have found Margot!

I have been taking my dogs to various dog boarding facilities in Santa Fe for the past year that were fine but there was always something missing. Then I met Margot. She is an absolute treasure! I don't worry about my dogs at all while they are in her care as she takes care of them as if they were her own. They have the run of the yard but also stay inside the house as their needs require. I receive regular texts of their activities that are full of humor and wit. My dogs used to have a little separation anxiety when I dropped them off at previous facilities but not anymore. They are full of excitement and don't even look back... Margot is a wonderful caregiver to my dogs and I recommend her dog sitting services without reservation!
