On-demand 2WD or 4WD by handlebar switch. Automatic belt drive transmission, simple and smooth. Has high and low gear range, reverse, neutral, and park via hand gear selector lever.
Significantly stripped down and rebuilt with new or replacement OEM parts where needed. It has new tires all around; front-end elements (bearings, boots, rotors, pads); rear brake master cylinder and reservoir; spark plug, coil and boot; battery and some wiring, starter solenoid; air filter; carburetor, fuel line, filter, petcock; coolant flush; oil flush and two changes with filter changes; seat cover; LED headlights (I don't like the yellow, will swap them out for clear - when they arrive in the next couple days). In short, there's nothing on the bike that, to my knowledge, isn't working. Should have many more years of service left, and I favor these old, simple, reliable models over the modern junk.
Plastics were not in good shape, so I trimmed them and went for a look of patriot Mad Max.
